Sports Massage Practitioners

Our insurance for Sports Massage Practitioners is provided by a comprehensive Worldwide Civil Liabilities policy, including Professional & Public Liability cover underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance group.

The cover protects you from compensation claims, including Legal Defence Costs, which may be brought against you during the term of the policy. You may select the level of protection required from the options available (or consult us if you require quotations for higher limits).

The cover is available to anyone that has undertaken appropriate training and is competent to administer Sports Massage. Additional activities can also be included (please contact us for further details), subject to evidence of training and competency.

All of your previous Sports Massage work will be included under the scheme, subject to any new claims notified for the first time being reported during the currency of the policy. When you cease to practise, the policy automatically provides you with up to 3 years run-off cover, to meet any potential claims from your earlier work at no extra cost (please note this option will only apply if you retire or cease to practice).

If you are a student, insurance is subject to our supervision clause, but the cover can be upgraded as soon as you become a fully qualified Sports Massage Practitioner.

We have two schemes available, one offering reduced rates for members of the Sports Massage Association, and another for non members. Both enjoy the same comprehensive cover and options.
