Professional Liability Insurance for Qualified Members of the Sports Massage Association

As a qualified member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) we recognise the high standard of training, and competency standards you have to maintain, which enables you to access the SMA’s Professional Liability insurance scheme at discounted rates.  Evidence of membership will be required prior to commencement of the insurance, and at each policy renewal.

There are no restrictions on the status of clients, e.g. professional or elite athletes are not excluded, and all previous work of a similar nature is covered subject to no claims, together with free Run-off insurance for members ceasing to practice or retiring.  Where members are qualified to perform other activities, they may be included subject to evidence of qualifications, which may also affect the annual charge.  Full details available upon request.  Students are subject to the policy Supervision Clause (see Summary of Cover for details).

Charges include premium, insurance tax, fees and administration expenses. The above rates are for individual practitioners only, additional charges may apply to partnerships or limited companies.
