Professional and Medical Liability Insurance for Physiotherapy and other Healthcare Businesses
This policy provides Civil Liability Insurance protection, including Medical & Professional Liability Insurance to businesses offering Physiotherapy and other Healthcare services.
This cover is particularly beneficial to partnerships and limited companies (or even sole traders who are not CSP members or engaged in non physiotherapy activities). Although each healthcare practitioner should retain their own individual cover (in the case of Physiotherapists this is provided as part of your CSP Membership) the business may also have a duty of care to the patient, and an obligation to pay compensation if they sustain injury through negligent treatment. The policy is flexible regarding the activities it can include, and the price is dependant upon the size and complexity of the business involved.
