CSP Members Insurance

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) provide Professional & Public Liability Insurance to all members resident in the United Kingdom practising within the Scope of Physiotherapy as part of membership benefits.  See summary of members insurance and the policy wordings for full details of the covers provided. The current insured limits for each member are:

• £5 million per Medical/Professional Liability claim (with an annual limit of £10 million for all claims in any insurance year)

• £10 million per occurrence for Public Liability claims (with an annual limit of £10 million in respect of Product Liability claims for all members in any insurance year)

Important Notes

• Members may increase the standard limit of £5 million per claim for Professional Liability Insurance to £10 million per claim by separate application (click here for details)

• Members of Physio First and AACP will already benefit from increased levels of Professional Liability cover except when treating English & Scottish Premiership Footballers
• Members must be HPC registered and ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom
• Members are insured whilst temporarily working anywhere in the world, except USA, Canada or Australia where special conditions apply
• No insurance is provided by the CSP for Loss of Income, Members Assets/Equipment or Employers Liability (including liability for injuries to students)
