Insurance Benefits For Members Of The British & Irish Orthoptic Society

Members of BIOS in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland are provided with Medical Malpractice and Public Liability Insurance as part of membership benefits.  The standard level of cover is £2.5 million in respect of any one claim, and up to £5 million in aggregate in any period of insurance.  The cover operates anywhere in the world except the USA, Canada and Australia, for all activities within the scope of Orthoptic practice, as recognised by the British and Irish Orthoptic Society.  Membership of BIOS and HPC registration must be held at the time of treatment.  Please download a Summary of Cover for further details.
